Experience Hartford was a night to remember! ✨

An evening that brought together local vendors, businesses, and the community to celebrate the people, culture, and creativity that make Hartford special.

From meaningful connections to discovering local talent, the night was a reminder of what makes this city so vibrant. More than just an event, it was an opportunity to experience Hartford through the people and businesses that bring it to life.

A celebration of community, connection, and everything Hartford has to offer. ❤️‍🔥

A celebration of rhythm, culture, and connection. 🇵🇷

Yelp Connecticut brought the community together for an experience filled with rhythm, personality, and plenty of moments worth capturing.

Nick & Hailey | Wedding Day. 🤍

A celebration of love, connection, and the beginning of a beautiful new chapter.

This day also marks a personal milestone as my first wedding behind the lens. A special thank you to Kassandra Lee | Connecticut Photographer for the opportunity to second shoot and be part of such a meaningful celebration.

A chance to step into a new chapter of my own while capturing the beginning of theirs. 🤍

Hey, I'm Josh. 👋

I'm the guy behind the camera at Imagery by Josh LLC, a creative media agency right here in Hartford, CT.

Honestly, I didn't start with some big business plan. My wife gifted me a camera, I fell in love with it, and in 2023 I decided to go all in. Since then I've gotten to work with some incredible people and brands across Connecticut, and I'm just getting started.

Here's what we're about:

📸 Making brands look as good as they actually are. No stiff, generic stuff.
🤝 Teaming up with folks like MetroHartford and Yelp Connecticut to show off what's happening in our region.
🏗️ Building something bigger through Libre at Five, because Hartford's creative community deserves its moment.

So why follow this page? This is where the full stories live. Full galleries from events, behind the scenes, local business spotlights, all the good stuff that doesn't fit in one Instagram post.

I really believe everyone has a story worth telling. I'd love to help tell yours sometime.

Thanks for stopping by. Hit follow, stick around, let's make something great together.

Definitely not something I’m used to sharing, but it felt important to be a little more open.

It’s been a rough few days, and I’m just grateful to be okay. Thank you to everyone who has checked in, been patient with me, and shown me so much grace.

Taking things one day at a time. 🤍

Through our continued partnership with MetroHartford Alliance , we had the opportunity to capture updated headshots for their executive team.

A refined portrait experience centered on consistency, presence, and representing the leadership behind an organization helping shape the Greater Hartford region.

A glimpse at a few of the leaders we had the opportunity to photograph.

Looking to elevate your company’s visual identity and refresh your brand presence? Let’s connect!

Outside the Frame gave us a clear look at what this can become.

Photographers and videographers came together without the pressure to perform, compete, or prove anything. They connected, shared space, and built relationships that carried beyond the event.

That is the culture behind Libre at Five | Culture & Access Platform.

Less performance.
More presence.
More access.
More community.

Outside the Frame was one chapter.

The culture is still being built.

This one has been sitting in my heart for a few weeks and today I can finally let it out. 🥹

is now a proud partner of the MetroHartford Alliance (). I want to be honest about what this means to me. This is not just a business milestone. This is what happens when you refuse to quit on yourself even when every reason to walk away is staring you in the face.

What does this mean for the MetroHartford Alliance? MHA now has a dedicated photographer in their corner. Their events, social media, marketing, and daily newsletter will have consistent professional content that truly reflects who they are and the incredible work they do for Hartford.

As a partner of MHA we also fall under the umbrella of all four of their initiatives including the Hartford Chamber of Commerce, HYPE, Connecticut Health Council, and CT IFS. This opens doors I could not have opened alone and connects Imagery by Josh to a network built on growing this city.

This year taught me that your lowest moments do not define you. How you move through them does. Imagery by Josh is moving with purpose in 2026 and this is just the first step.

MHA has not made their official announcement yet but I was too excited to keep this to myself any longer.

To everyone who has supported Imagery by Josh from the beginning. Thank you. This one is for Hartford! 🫶🏼

This partnership is just getting started. Stay tuned!

A heartfelt thank you to . You saw something in this before I could fully put it into words and I will forever be grateful.
