Let’s talk flat lays!!
You might hear your wedding photographer ask you “are you interested in a flat lay?” and THIS is what we mean!
It is a photo that includes all your small details from the day. Things you can include in your flat lay -
1. your Invitation Suite - including your invite, save the date, envelopes, rsvp cards, anything else you include when you send your invites out!
2. All 3 rings
3. Perfume/cologne
4. Florals - you can ask your florist for a few extra loose petals from your bouquet, these add such a nice touch!
5. Shoes
6. Veil (if you have one)
7. Jewelry - earrings, necklace, bracelet, etc
8. Vow books
9. Anything else meaningful to you that you plan to use for your big day
BONUS add extra fun to your gallery with a late night flat lay!! This would be something you do later in the reception. Things you can include in this are -
1. Dessert - cake or cupcakes
2. Special/personalized utensils
3. Table number
4. Your favors
5. Signature drinks
6. Any other special reception items that catch your eye!
The best part about flat lays are you can really do this at any event! Have a bridal shower or baby shower coming up? This is a fun way to display are the best details from your day!
