ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS HAVE MY HEART! 🥹✨

There is just something so special about getting to document two people in the middle of one of the most exciting seasons of their lives. The anticipation, the laughter, the stolen glances, the constant "we're getting married!" energy... I eat it up every single time.
And this session ended with a surprise I didn't see coming.
As we were wrapping up, Austin started asking me questions about my wedding collections. Usually it's the ladies reaching out for all the details while their fiancé is just along for the ride 😂
So hearing him genuinely interested (he said the session was a vibe) and excited about the photography side of their wedding day was such a fun and unexpected moment.
Needless to say, these two made my photographer heart very happy.

A sneak peek into Heaven & Hunter's engagement session!

We almost rescheduled because the radar showing signs of rain.
Storm clouds rolled in just hours before their session, the skies turned dark, and for a moment it looked like this beautiful evening might not happen.
But then… a little sprinkle passed through, the clouds broke open, and we were gifted the dreamiest mix of blue skies and golden sunset light.
And honestly? It felt fitting for Heaven & Hunter.
Soft, calm, effortless love with a little wildness mixed in.
These are the kinds of evenings that remind me magic doesn’t always come from perfect plans… sometimes it shows up right after the storm.

What a whirlwind of emotions the past week has been.

My girls officially graduated high school on Saturday right after receiving their associates degree just days before… and somehow, in the middle of all the excitement, proud tears, hugs, photos, and celebrations, I keep finding myself thinking about the little girls who made me a mom.

The years felt so long at times… but now? They somehow passed in the blink of an eye.

Watching them walk across those stages, knowing all they’ve accomplished, the challenges they pushed through, the late nights, the growth, the strength, the determination… I don’t even have the words for how proud I am.

It’s such a bittersweet feeling watching one season of life come to an end while another begins.
No matter how grown they get, they’ll always be my babies. ❤️

This decade taught me who I’m not.
This year, I move as who I am.

Shout out to my insanely sweet husband for getting off of work and meeting me to help me create these photos.

The last year in my 30's...that sounds wild but hey, I'm getting better with time baby.

Pregnancy… but make it powerful

Pregnancy doesn’t have to look one way.
It doesn’t have to be flowy dresses in a field.
It doesn’t have to be soft, quiet, or delicate.
It can look like this too...
bold, confident, and completely in your power.
Because growing life doesn’t make you less of who you are…
it makes you more.
