Being able to catch the U.S. Navy Blue Angels at Harrisburg Intl Airport on Memorial Day for my first ever air show was an experience that far exceeded anything I could have expected!

The power and speed of the jets along with the focus, precision and teamwork of the pilots and crew is jaw dropping to see in real time. I can't wait to catch them again!

The last event before game day is the Big 33 Recognition Ceremony. This event allows for an opportunity to honor not just the Big 33 players and coaches, but the flag football teams, the cheerleaders, the Big 33 Legends and Hall of Famers but also the generous host families.

When I heard that Harris Family Brewery was doing another colab with Zeroday Brewing Co. for their Blackr Tha Berry beer just in time for Juneteenth, I had to pop up.

This year's blend does not disappoint. The blackberry cream ale is sweet and smooth and pairs well with a meal at any time of day. It will be available for a limited time only starting tomorrow at the Broad Street Market. Be sure to get yours before they're sold out!

The BIg 33 Pep Rally was full of energy, as the Big 33 players, buddies, coaches, parents, host family and staff let loose for some fun. Big Mike the Hypeman set the tone with music to help get the excitement growing for the big game!

It was a joy seeing all the smiles abound as the Big 33 cheerleaders gave a mini performance for their buddies and then assisted in helping the buddies learn the choreography for their halftime performance for this year's game!

A mid week trip to the Carlisle Sports Emporium allows the Pennsylvania & Maryland Big 33 players, coaches and host families a chance to relax, have fun and connect before all of the activities kick off later in the week!

Here are a few photos from the Bro2Go Inc. Jr Bowling against Bully event from earlier this spring. This was the 9th year hosting this FREE event for the community and some of their Bro 2 Go mentees, offering food, bowling and a chance to connect and discuss the importance of standing up against bullying.

Having photographed this event for several years the bond that is established between the mentors and mentees is evident.

The opportunity to cover the PSFCA Big 33 Football Classic and associated events this year was a blessing that I did not see coming. I am grateful for good friends, like Christina Hoy Photography. It was a pleasure to meet and get to know the athletes, cheerleaders, buddies, parents, coaches and Big 33 staff! There were dozens of thousands of photographs snapped and steps walked, yet through the rain, heat and cold, I would sign up to do it 100 times!
