Lately I’ve been comparing baby photos of my daughter and my grandson constantly, thinking there’s no way they actually look THAT much alike… but they do. Every time I put the pictures side by side, I swear I’m transported right back to being a young mom again with my babies.
My daughter had the prettiest little face and the most headstrong “Addie-tude” from day one 😂 and now watching her with her own baby brings out so many emotions I can’t even explain. Pride, love, missing my little girl while she’s standing right in front of me as a mom herself, and holding onto every tiny stage and quirk of my grandson as tightly as I can because I know how fast it all goes.
That’s really why I love photos so much. They give us a way to hold onto the little things that change before we’re ready.
For Mother’s Day, we’re doing special Mother’s Day sessions for moms, grandmas, babies, grown babies — all of it. The messy, beautiful, emotional parts of motherhood deserve to be remembered too 🤍
