As a recent graduate of MCC with an Associates in Applied Science in General Commercial Photography {with honors and as a member of Phi Theta Kappa), I offer on-location photography for the most unique and personalized custom sessions. My style has somewhat of a simple, vintage feel and I prefer to capture emotions and moments in addition to formal studio posing. Available by appointment only. Messages, emails and phone calls will be answered between the hours of 10am and 5pm Monday through Friday.

I dug into the archives for this one because I couldn’t post Karter’s senior photos without sharing one from when he was a tiny tot. That's how long I've been photographing this guy. Seeing those pictures side by side makes me wonder how we got to senior year already. 🥹

Karter had a request for his senior session. He wanted a hilltop view with wind turbines in the background. I’m glad he thought of it, because once the sky started changing colors and those turbines stood out on the horizon, it was downright beautiful.

Good call on the wind turbines, Karter. And congrats on senior year!

Next up, Nico!

Nico is a senior at Atlantic High School, but I’ve actually known him since 2021 when I volunteered to photograph the local Civil Air Patrol squadron with their plane! Just a month or two later, my son joined CAP and the two became good friends.

So Nico isn’t just another senior in front of my camera. He’s someone I’ve gotten to know over the years through CAP, and it was pretty cool getting to be the one behind the camera for his senior portraits!

Here’s to senior year and whatever adventures come next, Nico!

From those tiny newborn days to ONE whole year!

Briar is officially ONE, so we’re throwing it back to where it all started with a couple of her newborn photos alongside her first birthday session!

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Briar and all three of her siblings through their newborn and milestone sessions. Four babies, countless sessions, and now the youngest is turning ONE!

It feels a little like the end of an era..unless Dana and Bobby decide to keep making cute babies 🤪

It's been a while since I've shared some sessions on here, so let's start with Madden!

I've been photographing Madden since he was just a tiny little thing….Fast forward all these years later and now he's getting ready to graduate!

We kicked off the fall part of his senior session on a downtown brick road before heading out to the beautiful Loess Hills for a change of scenery.

From squeezing his teddy bear (you know I have to share that image) to senior pictures..how did that happen so fast?!

Madden-enjoy senior year and thanks for being a good sport while I documented so many milestones in your life up to this point! 🫶 It paid off at senior pictures when you basically knew how to pose yourself 😉

One of my favorite things about this job is getting to photograph the same families year after year and watching their kiddos grow.

I’ve been photographing the Bruch family for years now, and I always look forward to their annual family pictures..including all the chaos that comes with three young kiddos. 🤣 And somehow, I’m pretty sure the squeaky rubber chicken makes an appearance at EVERY shoot. Whatever it takes to get those smiles!

These are the sessions I love most-a little chaotic, a lot of fun, and full of the personalities that make each family their own.

Six months of sweet Miss Reina!

This girl is officially sitting like a pro and army crawling faster than lightning! She can’t quite get those knees underneath her yet, but honestly..who needs ’em when you can get where you’re going that fast anyway?!

She also showed off some adorable little toofers with those BIG grins. She’s a big fan of Pooh and brought the whole Hundred Acre Wood crew along for her photos! Pooh, Piglet, Tigger & Eeyore were all there for moral support. 🧸🍯

Some people: “She’s just a dog.”

Me: SHE IS ONE YEAR OLD AND SHE WILL BE HAVING A PROFESSIONAL CAKE SMASH.

Did I bake her a cake? Yes.
Did I decorate? Obviously.
Did she get an entire cake smash photoshoot? Please. You know who you’re talking to. 😂

Cleo came into this world with a little heart that doesn’t work quite like it should, so around here we don’t take birthdays for granted. We have no idea how many we’ll be lucky enough to celebrate with her-which means every single one is going to be obnoxiously, ridiculously, unapologetically EXTRA.

So happy FIRST birthday to our tiny, squishy, spoiled little heart warrior.

You keep having birthdays, Cleo. Mama will keep making the cakes. ❤️

And yes, I realize I’m completely unhinged over this dog.

I’m comfortable with that. 😂

Blake’s senior session was all about the places that mean the most to him. From old bridges filled with memories around Kirkman and Irwin to ending the evening with an incredible Iowa sunset overlooking Irwin, every stop told a piece of his story.
