One of my favorite things about this job is getting to photograph the same families year after year and watching their kiddos grow.

I’ve been photographing the Bruch family for years now, and I always look forward to their annual family pictures..including all the chaos that comes with three young kiddos. 🤣 And somehow, I’m pretty sure the squeaky rubber chicken makes an appearance at EVERY shoot. Whatever it takes to get those smiles!

These are the sessions I love most-a little chaotic, a lot of fun, and full of the personalities that make each family their own.

Six months of sweet Miss Reina!

This girl is officially sitting like a pro and army crawling faster than lightning! She can’t quite get those knees underneath her yet, but honestly..who needs ’em when you can get where you’re going that fast anyway?!

She also showed off some adorable little toofers with those BIG grins. She’s a big fan of Pooh and brought the whole Hundred Acre Wood crew along for her photos! Pooh, Piglet, Tigger & Eeyore were all there for moral support. 🧸🍯

Did I bake her a cake? Yes.
Did I decorate? Obviously.
Did she get an entire cake smash photoshoot? Please. You know who you’re talking to. 😂

Cleo came into this world with a little heart that doesn’t work quite like it should, so around here we don’t take birthdays for granted. We have no idea how many we’ll be lucky enough to celebrate with her-which means every single one is going to be obnoxiously, ridiculously, unapologetically EXTRA.

So happy FIRST birthday to our tiny, squishy, spoiled little heart warrior.

You keep having birthdays, Cleo. Mama will keep making the cakes. ❤️

And yes, I realize I’m completely unhinged over this dog.

For the next 7 weeks, I’ll be keeping my phone close. There’s a small chance I’ll have to take a 5 minute call at a moments notice during a session. If you’ve ever sent a kid off to basic training, you get it 🙃 It’s been a rough week on this mama heart, but bring on the hot, humid July sessions 🙌🏻

As we celebrate Independence Day this weekend, this image feels especially meaningful. ❤️🇺🇸

Teagan had the honor of presenting the POW/MIA table with Civil Air Patrol..a quiet but powerful reminder of the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much for the freedoms we enjoy every day.

In just a few days, he’ll begin his own journey by leaving for Air Force Basic Training. To soak up these last precious days together as a family, the studio will be closed through July 7.

Thank you so much for your patience, support, and understanding. Wishing you all a safe, happy, and meaningful Fourth of July! We’ll see you back in the studio soon.
