If you've followed along on this page, I hope you get the sense that I'm a perfectionist - every storyline is meticulously plotted, every frame is color graded and audio balanced, and every first kiss is timed with the grand crescendo of the music that hopefully brings a happy tear to your eye.
I may not be doing many weddings nowadays since semi-retiring from videography, but I'm ready to take the leap into a new project. I'm starting my own dental practice.
I really draw a lot of similarities between videography and dentistry. It's a science and an art.
With videography, there's the technical know-how of how to make a video - the frame rate, ISO, shutter speed, lighting, and editing - and then there's the obvious artsy, creative side to it. With dentistry, there's the science of understanding the chemistry of the materials, the physiology of the body, and the engineering of the forces involved along with the artsy side of creating a smile - shaping a tooth from nothing and making it beautiful.
So I hope after watching some videos you get the sense that I'm a perfectionist. Because of all things, wouldn't you want your dentist to be a perfectionist? And if you've ever gotten a tear in your eye from the science and artistry (and love and care) that went into making a wedding video, I want you to know that I put the same level of meticulous care into my dentistry.
Please (pretty please) like and follow along on my new journey at Cornerstone Dental
