We'll be spending Sunday at Capital Pride with free portraits, parade and festival coverage, and a display wall full of some of our favorite client photos from the last few years.

We're excited to join for Capital Pride and celebrate with our community. 💚

Stop by our booth for a free portrait with your favorite people, whether that's your partner, your friends, your family, your chosen family, or just your fabulous self.

We'll also be photographing the parade and festival throughout the day, and we'll have a display wall filled with photos of real KRP clients from our community.

I think I'm gonna die.

just named me to their **100 Women We Love: Class of 2026** list.

When I started my photography business in 2011, I was teaching middle school English full-time and taking photos on evenings and weekends. I don't think there was a single moment where I thought, "Maybe one day I'll end up on a national list of influential q***r women."

Yet here we are.

The thing that made me emotional about the article is that they understood what matters most to me. Not the business. Not the number of weddings I've photographed. Not any award I've ever received.

They wrote about seeing people.

That's it. That's the whole thing.

For the last 15 years, I've had the privilege of documenting people as they fall in love, build families, celebrate milestones, and become more fully themselves. Being trusted with those moments has always felt like the greatest honor.

Thank you to everyone who has invited me into their lives and in front of their stories.

And thank you to my wife, Sheridan (), for taking the portrait that accompanied the article and for standing beside me through every step of this journey. This honor may have my name on it, but it belongs to both of us. 💚

Last week's wedding came with a fun surprise. 🍦

When the ice cream truck rolled up, I realized it was , run by Ben and Rani, clients whose wedding we photographed last year!

I love when our worlds collide like this. One year we're photographing a couple's wedding, and the next year they're serving ice cream at someone else's. 🖤

If you're looking for a wedding dessert your guests will actually remember, put them on your list. Everything is handmade in small batches with fresh, locally sourced dairy and real ingredients. Even better? Every flavor is gluten free, so it's a great option when you're trying to accommodate a variety of guests.

My personal recommendation is the Peanut Toffee Crunch. I was excited when I saw it on the menu board and it absolutely lived up to the hype. 🥜

Some wedding days are grand productions. Others are beautifully simple.

These two exchanged vows surrounded by the people who matter most, then spent the afternoon celebrating together at Murray's Fools Distilling Co. There was no rush, no pressure, and no need for anything extravagant. Just a marriage, a celebration, and the start of a new chapter.

You don't need modeling experience. You don't need to know your "good side." You don't need to practice poses in the mirror.

Our job is to help you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, then preserve the moments that happen naturally from there.

A quiet little weekday “just married” tucked into the marble halls of Albany County Supreme Court. ✨

These two kept things simple, intentional, and completely centered on each other. We wandered through grand staircases, glowing courtrooms, and the columns outside the courthouse before ending the afternoon with cocktails and a celebration with their parents at Olde English Pub downtown. 🍸

Honestly, Albany keeps surprising me with new corners to photograph. This was my first time shooting at Albany County Supreme Court and I’m already dreaming about going back.
