Noah & Makenzieā€™s winter wedding at Excelsior Springs Event Center was filled with so much love, laughter, and meaningful moments ā€” from their private first look overlooking Saratoga, to a ceremony performed by Makenzieā€™s grandfather, to heartfelt speeches and nonstop dancing all night long.

Watching Noah and Makenzie step into this next chapter was an honor. Their Christmas-blue winter wedding was elegant, emotional, and the perfect way to close out the year.

I love that quiet moment during a wedding ceremonyā€”after the bridesmaids have made their way down the aisle and the anticipation settles in. The room feels still, like everyone is holding their breath, sneaking glances toward the groom, waiting for that first reaction when the bride appears.

Noah and Makenzieā€™s moment was truly beautiful. Makenzie walked down the aisle with her father and stepfather by her side, one on each armā€”a gesture filled with so much love and meaning. And the instant she saw Noah, her face lit up with the sweetest smile. It was one of those moments that didnā€™t need wordsā€¦ just love, emotion, and a connection you could feel in the room. šŸ¤

Photographing this beautiful family over the years has been such a joy ā¤ļø Their sweet little girl was actually the one who requested they come back to me for photos this year ā€” she remembered our sessions together starting all the way back when she was just TWO šŸ„¹āœØ

We met at one of my favorite fall spots, the Geyser Loop at Saratoga State Park. Even though it was cold, windy, and the snow from the day before had already melted, it still gave off the most perfect fall vibe šŸ

Iā€™m so grateful to watch families grow through my lens year after year.

Happy Monday morning! ā˜€ļø

The first workday after daylight savings always hits a little different ā€” itā€™s wild knowing itā€™ll be dark by the time I get out of work now! But the cozy season is officially here, and I can already feel the holidays creeping in.

Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner, and Iā€™m so ready for quiet nights in front of the fireplace, a good book in hand, and a little time to reflect on everything this past year has brought.

Sometimes, life reminds us just how fragile ā€” and precious ā€” every moment is.

The morning of Monina & Patrickā€™s Juniper Springs wedding, my husband was rushed to the hospital with a heart attack. Thanks to quick care and an incredible medical team, heā€™s recovering ā€” and thanks to my amazing photography community, their beautiful day was still captured with so much love.

A heartfelt thank you to for stepping in without hesitation and taking such wonderful care of my couple. Your kindness means more than words.
