40 trips around the sun feels significant. I can feel a shift. In the right direction. 40 is quiet confidence, insecurities that feel just a little more pointless by the day, acceptance, and a realization of my place in the world being just a bit different than it used to be. My 30s brought me motherhood and settling into a well established business. My 40s will be for cultivating an amazing childhood for our little boy, celebrating and surpassing 20 years of marriage, and raising the bar as a photographer and business owner.
