The announcement is out.

The Gabby Petito Foundation is coming to Pickens November 11–13.

But this is about so much more than three days on a calendar.

At The Hiding Place, alongside the Pickens Police Department, we believe some of the greatest change happens when we stop working in separate spaces and start sitting at the same table.

All of us have a role in changing the way our communities recognize, respond to, and prevent domestic violence.

That is why The Hiding Place is so incredibly honored to partner with Gabby’s family and the Gabby Petito Foundation.

Gabby’s story reached millions. Her family chose to take unimaginable loss and use their voices to educate, advocate, and help protect others.

And this November, that national advocacy is coming right here to Pickens.

Over three days, we aren't simply hosting events. We are creating conversations that could change what happens the next time someone needs help. We are equipping the officer who responds. The first responder who notices something isn't right. The service provider trying to connect the pieces. The young person learning what love should—and should never—look like. And the community member who may one day be the safe person someone chooses to tell.

This is why November 11–13 matters.

For three days, Pickens will become a place where national advocacy meets local action. 🦋

And we have so much more to share.
