“What if I don’t want my children’s face to be shown online?” Great question! ⤵️
Parents are growing increasingly weary of posting their children’s face on the Internet, and for a good reason! In a world where basically everything ends up plastered on the interwebs ,it’s no surprise that many parents are choosing to keep their children’s faces offline. As a family photographer, this is a decision I fully support and appreciate, in spite of the fact that it can result in fewer images I can post to my online portfolio. My goal is to capture beautiful meaningful moments for your family, all awhile respecting your boundaries and preferences.
So you’ve decided to hire me as your photographer, but you don’t want your child’s face on the Internet. Now what?
How I photograph with privacy in mind-
If you prefer that your child’s face not be shown online, I’d still love to share the beauty of your family session- just differently. Add focus on storytelling moments that don’t reveal identities.
-tiny hands clutching yours
-sweet snuggles from a side angle
-little feet running through the grass
-laughter,movement,connection- all without a full face in view.
These images will capture the feeling of your family, the love you share, and the season you’re in, all while keeping your child’s privacy intact.
So whether it’s for safety, privacy, or simply peace of mind, deciding not to share your child’s face online is a decision you’ll never need to explain or justify to me— I recommend it, and I honor it. ❤️
Your trust means everything to me, and my job isn’t just to take pictures, it’s to create a safe, respectful experience for your family.
With each session, I will always ask for permission to share images. If you are a client that has now decided to not show your children’s faces on the Internet and you would like to have pictures taken down from my website. Please just reach out to me and I’d be glad to follow your wishes. ☺️
