Confidence. Let's talk about it.

I hear it all of the time...

I don't have the confidence to do that.

But the truth is, a lot of the women you see in my photos feel the same way.

All they needed was an ounce of confidence and belief in themselves.

Ahhh we had so much fun at today’s session!!

This babe said she almost turned around in the parking lot and was going to high tail it to Alaska instead of coming in for her session.

I’m so glad she stuck with it and trusted me because she left loving every minute!

I gave her a little nudge to do some photos in the sheet at the end and they ended up being some of her favorites, she said “I’m low key glad you made me do those!”

She loved them so much that she had to get more than what she got started ;) YOLO as she said 😈

If you’ve never done this before, I know it can be a little intimidating to strip down for a near stranger.

But as soon as we started she was a pro and I could see those nerves slip away.

Celebrating this babe for facing her fears and not running off to Alaska on me, I can’t wait for her to see the rest of these!

I know some of you might be like me and need 2 months to prepare, at least 5 text reminders and a large flashing sign to get something on your calendar.

I need to make a confession...

I'm not the photographer for you if you just want some spicy pics for your boo thang.

I LOVE when you want to do something amazing for your lover.

But the truth is that I want YOU to want this experience.

I’m here for the babes who want to know their worth, love up on their bodies and reconnect with their sensuality

It’s a given that our partners adore us and would totally LOVE sexy photos of us (and if they don’t well that’s a different conversation we need to be having friend)

But they’re not the ones who need a reminder that they’re a hottie with a bodyyyyy.

Consider this your permission slip to show up for yourself, to take up space and get curious about what YOU want.

Not what your partner wants.

every year I try to make some super sappy, inspirational post for my birthday that maybe no one cares about. but to me it's important because i get to revisit who I was, what I was going through, what I was thinking during that time.

for days I've tossed it over in my mind and really what I've got is gratitude.

32 years and I'm just really freaking grateful to be alive.

To be here.

To be reflecting on a year that truly shaped me and shifted me in more ways than I can count.

to be a mom and a wife.

to still have a business that I love that supports me

this last year was the best and probably most challenging year of my life.

my first full year of being a mom brought a lot of lessons, a lot of firsts.

A lot of tears and moments that I truly wondered what the hell was going on (I'm guessing that never really ends).

AND

it was also a year of insurmountable joy, of love breaking my heart wide open and filling in the cracks I didn't know were there.

my days are filled with wonder and awe as I grow with my son. he teaches me so much about the world and myself.

every moment truly is a blessing (the good and the bad) because I didn't know if we'd ever end up here.

I pray that I never take for granted this gift I have been given.

32, thank you for all of the lessons, for the healing, for the love and for the heartbreak.

33, I'm ready for this to be the best year yet ;) show me how good it can get
