Allen Howard Photography I am a hobbyist photographer based in Pittsburgh who enjoys photographing sporting events and nature. Syracuse game at Heinz Field in 2016.

Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Allen Howard Photography performs various photo shoots all over the city. With a wide variety of cameras and lenses to match specific needs for different situations including portraits, concerts, sporting events, community events, landscapes, and more. Headquartered thirteen miles east of Pittsburgh, we travel all over the city and the suburbs for photo shoots. O

ur clients have included: Controlled Chaos (Pitt Hip-Hop Dance Team), The Lone Pines (A Pittsburgh Folk Band), Monroeville Public Library, and CyREN (A Cyber-security Research Lab at the University of Pittsburgh). Starting the series in my home city of course! For the next 30 days (until July 4, 2026), I'll be showcasing photos I've taken in my adventures through the USA over the years.

Disappointing news out of Moose Jaw yesterday: The Canadian Forces Snowbirds will be standing down starting in the 2027 season with replacement aircraft not yet ordered, so it may be some time before we see the Snowbirds again after this season.

I've had the opportunity to see them a few times, and seeing 9 planes fly in formation is quite spectacular. Here are some photos from last year when I saw them twice - once at the Westmoreland County International Air Show and once at the Canadian International Air Show.
