It’s been a while since I’ve done a little introduction around here, and since I was able to get some new headshots with a photographer friend, I figured it was the perfect time. 🤎

Hi, I’m McKaila! The face behind McKaila T Photography.

My husband and I live in Greencastle with our three girls and two Goldendoodles, so when I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually somewhere in the middle of the chaos of motherhood. 😂

I’ve been doing photography for almost 9 years now, which is honestly crazy to say out loud. Over the years I’ve photographed so many different seasons of life, and I think that’s what I love most about this job.

One of my biggest goals is making you feel comfortable in front of my camera. You don’t need to know how to pose, your kids don’t need to sit perfectly and smile, and everything definitely doesn’t have to go according to plan. I’ll guide you through it and let your family be exactly who you are.

I want to capture the belly laughs, the little hands, the snuggles, the chaos and all those tiny things about your kids that seem so normal right now but change way too quickly.

I’d love to capture whatever season of life you’re in right now. 🤎

A little reminder to myself to pull my camera out more often for the mundane, everyday moments with my own babies. 🤎

Baking muffins in the kitchen, messy counters, little hands wanting to help… nothing fancy, but these are the moments I know I’ll want to remember someday.

And your family photos don’t always have to mean getting everyone dressed up and heading somewhere pretty. Sometimes your own home, doing the things you normally do together, tells your story even better.

So I’m curious… would you ever book an in-home lifestyle session like this? Just your family doing normal everyday life together? Or are you more of a get dressed up + pretty outdoor location kind of person? 👀

We are BACK after a much needed family vacation ☀️🌴

After getting home at 5am this morning 😂 today will be spent getting our house back in order/unpacking all the things

Haven’t posted much the last few days because I’ve been ✨rage cleaning✨ my entire house… because obviously it has to look like no one has ever lived here before we leave for vacation. 😂😂

Just a little heads up.. I’ll officially be OUT OF OFFICE 8/22–8/30! 🌴☀️
I’ll be responding to emails/messages the rest of this week, and anything that comes in while I’m gone will be answered once I’m back!
