October has been a wild (and very beautiful) ride and November isn’t really slowing down much but tis’ the season for being a full time photographer in Ohio in the fall! 🍂🍁 Super grateful for all of it 💛 Pausing for a moment to share a snippet from this woodsy creekside session earlier this month with high school senior, Anna. Today’s the day for M+Z! I have been looking forward to this day for these OU Bobcat loving cuties so much!

We had the best time this summer running all around the brick streets of our shared alma mater! They have the best energy and I just know today is going to be amazing.

Hello there! Well it’s certainly been awhile and feel like I am about 100 posts behind in sharing all that I’ve wanted to over the past several months. So thanks to all of you still following along!

The long story - Last spring marked 20 years in business! What?? That sure escalated quickly! Two decades of getting to work with so many couples, families, small business owners and industry leaders has led me to the next chapter of my business.

The short story - I launched a new website! (Ok, two sites really)

www.kimberlypotterf.com has a brand new look and is now fully dedicated to all stages of family life, high school seniors, branding and headshots. With more content, blog features and helpful info to really help clients know what they can exoect from working with me.

I still LOVE photographing weddings and engagements and will continue to do so, just at a slightly smaller scale. This work now also has it’s own home at:

Anyone who’s been engaged or planned a wedding knows this is a very unique time and milestone in your life, and this dedicated space showcases exactly that.

Once again, warm summer sunsets and wildflowers will soon be making way for crisp mornings and fall foliage. Do we ever really get to that point in life where time ever slows?

Such a great session with Brinley a few weeks ago! We planned two different locations for her session - barefoot in the creek and sunset among the wildflowers.

Well, if this isn’t the perfect ending to our trip than I’m not sure what is. Last time we were here, we had our sweet Nellie girl 🐶 with us, so I’d like to think she’s saying hello. 🌈 It’s been such a beautiful adventure in our favorite place and we’re already planning our return.

For those that have sent inquiries and messages, thanks for your patience with my replies. I should be back to normal response time tomorrow.

Today’s the day!!! To know them is to love them ❤️ I’ve known Katie since she’s was little blazing down the sidewalks of our neighborhood on her bigwheel. Her laugh is joyful and contagious and Mario is kind amd adventurous and I’ so happy they found each other! I can’t express how special getting to capture this day for them is to me. Big hugs and cheers to Katie and Mario on their wedding day!

After nearly 16 years, I’m finally heading back to one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been.

Excited to experience the magic of ✨Yosemite✨ with my husband. This is a much needed getaway for us both and will be his first visit to the park. I really hope he loves it as much as I do!
