I swear this sweet boy had a shot of espresso right before his big debut because he was WIDE awake and incredibly alert! 👀 Bundles of energy like this definitely keep me on my toes.

The trick to getting him sleepy was we tucked his hands snuggly into the wrap, and boom, he finally drifted off into dreamland. 😴 It was a total victory, but it definitely took a healthy dose of time and patience (which is my absolute favorite part of the job!).

Meet Charlotte, 14 days new.

I had the absolute joy of capturing this beautiful family’s maternity session just a few weeks ago, and it is always so incredibly special to document the "before and after" as a family grows! Meet Macy, she is such a gorgeous baby to photograph! I just love a classic bum-up shot, there is truly nothing sweeter.

Meet sweet baby Amelia! 💕 Her mom reached out to me just yesterday, worried it might be too late for those sleepy newborn portraits because Amelia was already 44 days old. I got her into the studio the very next day, and look at this angel!

There is a common myth that you have to get newborn photos done in the first 14 days. But after 12 years of photographing babies, I’m here to tell you: it is never too late to capture these fleeting moments. As long as your little one is under 10lbs, I can still get them beautifully wrapped and snuggled into my props.

This is Cash. 💙 He decided to make his entrance at 37 weeks via an emergency C-section, keeping everyone on their toes with his cord wrapped around his neck and a rough start with his liver. But this little guy is a fighter. Fast forward to today, and he’s completely healthy, home with his family, and acting like a total angel for his first photo shoot. Welcome to the world, sweet boy. You are so loved.
