It’s getting cold outside, so here I am reminiscing on this summer day ❄️🙃

Mackenzie & Tim picked Grand Marais for their wedding, packed up their favorite people, and made a whole weekend out of it (including a few first-timers).

was the perfect spot to fit everyone and host their small (but mighty) reception.

Twelve years ago, I stepped foot in Minnesota (and the US) for the very first time. I came for a work and travel program that I thought would just be a summer adventure… little did I know I was walking into the place I’d someday call home. ✨

From the shores of Lake Superior to the community that welcomed me with open arms, every moment since has shaped who I am today. I’m endlessly grateful for the friends who became family, the family who supported every leap, and every single person who has made this dream—being a full-time photographer—possible. ❤️

And now, the sweetest part of all: this is the place where I get to raise my children—my home, my heart, and a place I’m so proud of.

Cheers to 12 years of growth, gratitude, and the most unexpected, beautiful journey. Here’s to many more. ✨

The sky the other night… absolutely unreal.

I’m no landscape photographer, but when Mother Nature decides to show off, I’m just happy to be there with my camera in hand.

One of the perks of hanging around the harbor for work? Every once in a while, staying late pays off big time.
