One of the most common questions I get from couples is… “What happens if the weather is bad?”
And usually my answer is some version of: we pivot, we adapt, we embrace it.
But this year… I decided to take a different approach.
Instead of planning around the weather… I figured out how to plan the weather itself.
Over the past year, I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes building out fully controlled environments designed specifically for elopements.
Right now, there are two options available:
🏔️a mountain environment with wildflowers, big mountains, crisp air, and all the turquoise blue alpine lakes
🏜️ a desert environment with deep canyons, red rocks, and warm golden sunsets
Both are fully indoor, fully controlled, and designed to look and feel exactly like the real thing, just without the unpredictability. 👏
We can adjust everything in real time:
– sunrise or sunset timing
-golden hour that lasts for hours
– cloud coverage (light + glowy or dramatic + moody)
– temperature preferences
– and yes… wind is completely optional now
Each couple will fill out a custom environment + weather preference form so we can dial everything in ahead of your day.
No more stressing about forecasts. No more backup plans. Just exactly what you pictured.
This has honestly been a long time coming, and I’m so excited to finally offer it.
