What started as a hobby turned into my life’s mission. The most important thing in our short time on this planet is connection – and it’s the greatest honor of my life to be able to connect with so many amazing people and through my camera be able to show them how they love and how they are loved. kend would get old. And there was a time that I was starting to feel that way… but that’s when I realized I was doing it wrong. Weddings aren’t about flowers and chair covers. They’re about people. This is the one time in your life everyone you love will be in one room. Each wedding is unique because the dynamic between each couple and each family is unique. That’s pretty f**king cool. When I’m not photographing weddings, I am a rock climber, scuba diver, glass blower ( on instagram), ukulele player, world traveler, and cat mom to Sherlock ( on instagram). During the winter, I teach a video class at the Sheffield Institute of the Recording Arts and I love having a positive impact on my students. Everything I love to do challenges me personally and makes me a stronger person. I feel the most alive when I feel connected to this beautiful planet and the people on it.

The beautiful weather lately has meant that in addition to having a lot of outdoor sessions, I’ve also been going for a lot of walks to break up the editing and computer work days. This spot is my favorite place to walk to… down the road from our home, and the park where my husband and I were married 🥰

I love that I got to share this special place with Victoria and Ryan for their engagement session last year. It’s a bit of a hike for my MD couples but I promise if you want to come up here, we’ll make it worth it ;)
