A little hello from the girl behind the camera 🌾🤎
For those of you who are new here, hi!
I’m Carly Jane 🙂 the face, heart, and occasionally scattered brain behind Third Eye Catcher Photography.
I’m a mama, photographer, musician, forest school teacher, Sagittarius, lover of all things old and nostalgic, and a firm believer that fall and winter are the best seasons. My love language is sharing my favorite music, cooking for people and deep (and silly) conversations. I feel most at home outside with dirt on my boots and a camera in my hands.
Most days, if I’m not chasing a sunset, I’m chasing my threen-ager. And sometimes I’m lucky enough to do both!
Life lately is full, beautiful, chaotic, and at times, heavy. Between motherhood, running a business, teaching, creating, and everything in between, I’m just trying to find a little balance and appreciate the small things along the way.
I’ve never been particularly interested in perfection, and I think that’s why I love photography so much. The messy, honest, in-between moments are usually the ones that mean the most.
When you’re in front of my camera, my three biggest priorities are that you feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely have fun. To me, creating beautiful photographs is less about getting the shot and more about making the moment itself worth remembering. The photos are just a little piece of that experience you get to hold onto forever.
At the end of the day, I’m just a little weirdo out here trying to make art, raise a good human, and find that silver lining each and every day.
