I’ve been putting off posting these because… how is this really happening?

These senior guys have been playing soccer with my son for years—through travel teams, and high school seasons. I’ve watched them grow up together on and off the field, and photographing them as seniors felt surreal.

They’ve shared wins, losses, injuries, laughs, far away games, and late-night practices. They’ve pushed each other, supported each other, and left it all on the field—season after season.

As a photographer and a soccer mom, this one got me right in the heart. I’m going to miss seeing them all out there together. These boys have become part of our soccer family, and it’s hard to imagine not being able to cheer them on from the sidelines next year.

Spent the other day with Addy for her senior photos and it was seriously the best. We started at the prettiest old historic home—such a peaceful, timeless spot full of gorgeous gardens—and then wandered through the coolest vintage bookstore.

Honestly, you can't walk through a bookstore and be in a bad mood. There's something about all those stories and quiet corners that just feels good.

Addy was so easy to photograph—kind, thoughtful, and totally herself. I loved getting to capture this part of her story before she heads into her next chapter.

Today the weather was a little menopausal- rainy, sunshine, cloudy, rainy, etc. Thankfully, the skies cleared up for a photoshoot with this amazing family. I should be sleeping, but I couldn't help myself. I had to rush home & edit just a few.
As I was culling & editing their photos, I thought about how sometimes, in the rush of daily life, we forget the quiet magic of a loving family. When they look at these images, I hope they don’t focus on whether their body looks just right, theirr smile feels awkward, or their shirt is a little crooked. Instead, I hope they see the strength in their arms as they hold each other, the grace in their laughter, the love in their eyes, and the beautiful story they're living—just as they are. Family life isn't perfect, but it isn't meant to be. So I hope you celebrate your family tonight! Whatever that looks like. Embrace it, celebrate it.

This girl rocked her senior session! She’s got the sweetest heart and the coolest vibe — truly the whole package.

How am I so lucky to photograph such amazing humans?? Watching her grow up since she was just 11 years old has been the biggest honor. Getting to freeze these moments in time is what makes my job so special.

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this amazing senior who drove an hour for her session — and it was so worth it! She has such an effortlessly cool vibe — confident, creative, and totally herself. She’s headed to the Culinary Institute of America (the Harvard of cooking schools!) to chase her dreams, and I have no doubt she’s going to create something incredible. Just look at this cake that she made! Red velvet, delicious, and expertly frosted & decorated.

It feels like just yesterday I was photographing her brother’s senior photos, and now here she is — cool, confident, and ready to take on the culinary world. These moments go by so fast, and I feel so lucky to capture them.

This season has been so full — photographing amazing seniors and soaking up every moment with my own senior at home. Watching these young seniors step into their futures is such an emotional, beautiful thing. As a mom, I understand so deeply that tug on your heart — wishing you could slow time down, just for a little while, and hold onto these moments a little longer.

It’s an honor to capture these milestones for my clients. Every photo is a piece of this fleeting, precious season. This senior was so chill, easy going, and a pleasure to photograph.
