Last month was a record for me sales wise in my little corner at Loose Cow Mercantile ! Forever grateful to the herd and everyone in the community that has supported my little side project. Thank you to those who came down and bought herb plants during the sale, who have supported me, my garden, and my art.

I have been a busy bee harvesting from the garden to offer even more herbs to the community, all at a reasonable cost. High quality culinary and medicinal herbs shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg, it should be accessible by all who wish to work with herbs.

All 2025 harvested herbs are currently 20% off to make room for this years harvest. All are still quality, high potent and am happy to get these in your hands at an even more affordable price!

It’s elderflower season! One of my favorite plant allie’s to play with. I use the flower in skin care, cough syrup, simple syrups, cordial, and champagne. I share recipes and formulas on my blog. Simply search elderflower in the search bar. Don’t pick all the flowers or you won’t get any berries and be sure to leave some for the bees and other pollinators.

New drop over at my space within ! Tea towels dyed with mugwort or forsythia, tulip petals, and turkey tail mushrooms. Bath salts in 2 scents: chamomile or lavender; and an extremely small batch of face serum. I loved working on this small collection in between seed starting, garden prep, and a home reno that has taken any extra bandwidth my brain has had over the last 2 months. Getting these pockets of creativity has been a blessing and I’m happy to share them with you.

It’s Iris season! Over the years I have captured the Iris collection at and now my own collection that continues to grow with the addition of new specimens this year. I just love the color combos and how the color blends together. Do you love Iris?

A few scenes from my morning walks. We got a new puppy in March and we’ve been walking to the river each morning to get some of her energy out. With views like this I can’t complain plus it’s been helping me get all my steps in.
