🍂It might feel a little early to start thinking about fall, but I promise you it isn't.

Fall is one of my busiest times of year and those weekends have a way of filling up before the leaves even start to change.

If you've been thinking about family photos, updated photos with the kids or a session with someone you love, now is a good time to start planning.

Every once in a while, I look through old galleries and remember why I started doing this.

Not just for the pretty pictures.

For the little stories tucked inside them.

The way a kid looked at their mom. The laugh nobody planned. The tiny details you don't realize you'll miss until years later.

That's the part of photography that keeps me coming back. 💗

🐾 Happy National Dog Day from my crazy little furry children. It’s been quite the year of adventures, love and laughter. But friends, I wouldn’t change it for anything.

I thank Daisy Lou and Samuel George daily for brining them into my life when I thought I’d never welcome a dog back into my heart.

Happy Son and Daughter Day to all the kids who fill our lives with laughter, chaos, love,m and a whole lot of memories.

Getting to photograph families means getting to freeze a few of those moments in time and I’m pretty lucky to do that.

If you're wondering where I've been lately, well life has been wonderfully busy, which means I'm a little behind on editing (thank you for your patience!)

Friends, there are some sessions that are a little extra special because of the people in front of my camera.

Watching this mom with her son was a beautiful reminder that the little moments like the hugs, the laughter, the silly faces, are the ones that become the most treasured memories.

I’m so grateful I got to capture this season for them 🩷
