You could feel the love all day long; from friends praying over the sweetest bride, to the way these two looked at each other, to the genuine laughter that carried right through a downpour during dinner.

There was so much joy woven into every part of this day. The kind of wedding you leave feeling lucky to have witnessed. 🤍

There are seasons of motherhood that can feel ordinary while we’re living in them.

The cuddles before they’re too big for your lap.
The way they reach for your hand.
The little smiles they save just for you.

It’s easy to believe we’ll always remember these moments.

But memory fades. Photographs don’t.

One day these images won’t just remind her what she looked like as a little girl they’ll remind her how deeply she was loved.

And I think that’s one of the greatest gifts we can leave our children.

The advice I’d give new photographers

1. Remember, everybody was new once and we all have imposter syndrome. We were all beginners at once, keep practicing, find what you love to photograph and put yourself out there.

2. Don’t stop photographing for YOU. You started this profession because you are a creative and love photography. Shoot things you are passionate about and try new things.

3. What worked for them may not work for you and that’s okay. Advice from others in the community can be so valuable BUT this field is not a one size fits all.
