Heyyyy beauties! I know what you’re asking…How many outfits are ideal for a branding session?  Well, you want to get as much out of a single photo session as possible, so make sure to bring multiple pre-styled looks to change into. Two to three is perfect, but if you have more, that’s fine too! Just let me know so we can get the timing right.

Hey!! It’s been a minute since I’ve posted but I really needed some time to heal mentally and physically. I feel good and Im back! I recently took a trip to Winston-Salem NC and did a session with beautiful Cordula . She's a singer, song writer and healer. She needed images for social media and for her website, so we met up to make some magic happen!

So long, summer break, it’s been real fun! This is the last weekend before my daughter returns school. We’ve been able to stay up late, sleep in, see family, had a fabulous trip to Hawaii, many pool dates, play dates and lots of outdoor fun when it wasn’t blazing hot!
I was blessed to enjoy the majority of the summer. My breast surgery was at the end of the break so I didn’t miss out on too much. It’s been a true test but I am so thankful to my family and the many sweet friends that have shown love and support through this trying time. I am healing and slowly getting back to normal. I feel good and ready to enjoy the last weekend before back to school.
Happy Friday! Do something fun…do something nice for someone else!

Life has many twists and turn, some good and some bad. Recently I was diagnosed with DCIS stage 0 breast cancer. When I got the news I was hurt, angry, and sad but then I had to stop and thank God it was found early! I had surgery yesterday (Lumpectomy and Oncoplasty) along with lymph node biopsy.
Surgery went well, now time for recovery! , Dr. Feldman and everyone from Virginia Cancer Specialists were absolutely amazing! ❤️

Book enough time for your branding session. I can’t stress this enough! A lot goes into a session, outfit changes, multiple stories, props, styling, and posing…whew!
The time will go by faster than you think and trying to do too much can cause undue stress. Ain’t nobody got time for that!!
So when thinking about your branding session, make sure to give yourself enough time and pick a package that reflects your goals.

While preparing for your session, a great idea is to create a mood board. A mood board is a fun and creative way to present your brand’s concept and vision. This information allows you to effectively communicate your vision with your photographer – it lets your photographer know how you want the photos to look and feel.
Pinterest is an awesome way to create and share a board with your photographer. You can also use Canva; they have many nice templates to choose from (I love Canva!). You have the option to upgrade to a paid account, but all of the templates are available for free as well.
Take your time with it and let your creativity show. A mood board sets the tone for your branding.
