One of the biggest questions I get before a session is what to wear.

My advice is always to keep it simple, elegant, and timeless. Dark, solid colors tend to photograph beautifully because they keep the focus where it belongs: on you and the people you love.

When choosing clothing, think less about matching and more about coordinating. A cohesive color palette creates a portrait that feels polished and will look beautiful in your home for years to come.

This part of the process is one of my favorites.

Adding fine art edits allows me to intentionally shape the portrait through light, depth, and softness. Little details that bring everything together and give the piece its finished feeling.

It’s slow, thoughtful work, and it’s what makes each portrait feel truly like art. 🎨
