One of the most common misconceptions about getting amazing wedding portraits is that they require a lot of time to create. Not over here! 😁

Many of my couples tell me they don’t want their wedding day to feel like one long photo shoot. I don’t want that either!

First, because I believe the most beautiful moments happen spontaneously.

But also, there are several key 10-15-minute windows throughout the day (like right before sunset) that make perfect portrait opportunities. With this more spread-out approach, I can capture dozens of beautiful photos of the two of you, WITHOUT pulling you away from your guests.

I stole M & J right after they finished their meals for this quick round of peak golden hour photos. We stepped outside. They got a quiet moment away from the noise and chaos. I got ✨The Shot™️✨, and a few extras just for fun. They went back inside & proceeded to enjoy their party. Simple. Done. ✅

Want to make your wedding ceremony feel extra meaningful? Ask a friend or family member to officiate! I plan to do this for my own wedding (whenever that may be 🤣). It’s so easy to get ordained online these days, and no stranger will ever know your love story better than someone who’s been there from the beginning. This is a great way to add personal flair and remove generic cookie-cutter-ness from your wedding. 🤍💍
