High school sweethearts + the prettiest color palette + a day that just kept getting better. 🌸🍊🩵

My first wedding contracted under Flower & Oak —and getting to photograph it right here in my hometown, alongside vendors I already know and love, made this one extra fun.

Simon + Natalie had the kind of day that reminds me why I love weddings so much. Wonderful families, the BEST group of friends, incredible food, gorgeous details, a whole lot of laughing… and that golden hour did not disappoint. ✨

I walked in knowing no one and left feeling pretty lucky that I got to know them and their people while capturing this chapter of their story.

And can we talk about the PARASOLS?!

And this one was a little personal for me.

I knew Dee Dee way back in the day. A whole lot of years, sunrises and sunsets later, somehow our paths crossed again — this time with me behind the camera getting to capture this chapter of her life. Funny how life has a way of bringing people back around. 🤍

I am beyond excited to share this video! I wish everyday I could go back and start the planning process all over again with Emily and Aiden! Would I change things? Yes MANY! But I would relive this day many times over and every time enjoy so many different moments! But for now I will just watch this video by Michigan Wedding Photographer + Videographer they did amazing! Just amazing! Highly recommend! Enjoy the video and my favorite love story!
