I usually race but it’s tough when you love art and paddling equally! I learn something on every shoot that I do and this was no exception. For now I will not be niching down as I was encouraged to do in school and by the business gurus. I enjoy too many photographic niches! 🚣🌊🏄

This Checkered White Butterfly was my new visitor yesterday. He was only an about an inch an a half in size. Easy to miss, but glad I didn't.

Just a Damselfly doing damselfly things. 🌿 These delicate hunters are actually garden allies. They prey on mosquitoes, gnats, and other small insects, making them a welcome guest in a chemical-free garden.

If you love paddling in any craft, sign up for this event!! I raced in the 1 mile fun race the last four years and it’s a fun day!! I made the podium a couple of times but the prize I’ve really been trying to win every year is the silent disco party package raffle prize!

Yesterday I had the privilege of subbing in for my daughter at the Bring Hope Now dragon boat races as a part of the city of Niceville’s Flying Mullet team! I had so much fun! You will see me in two weeks at the Navarre Paddle Classic Sponsored by Navarre Beach Yoga Studio and I will be bringing some giveaways for the raffle!

I know they look kinda creepy but, meet your garden's tiny bodyguard 🌿 The milkweed assassin bug (Zelus longipes) is a native predator that takes care of aphids, caterpillars, and other garden pests. No sprays needed. Pretty cool AND useful. 🖤

🌼🌼🌼Love is in the air. Well, love bugs are anyway. Lance-leaf coreopsis doing what it does best, feeding the ecosystem, one tiny visitor at a time.

I have so many of these flowers, I started making wild cut flower bouquets 🌼🌼🌼
