In honor of another B&W Series session going down tomorrow morning, I figured it was time to share another already done.
But where to begin with this one…
When I first mentioned the idea of this Creative Series, was so on board, telling Sean he was going to be too lol. We got together on a Monday afternoon, nothing fancy, just the two of them in their home… which if you don’t know, doubles as a photography studio. With my questions in hand, and not a clear idea of exactly what I was doing with this project, we got to it!
Questions about the highs and lows, the light and dark were asked. And the responses and emotions from these photos were so real. I think that’s my favorite part; knowing people feel safe to share their answers with me.
talked about his kids, how much joy and happiness they bring him. The amount of pride he has for his three boys, there’s such a bright light in his eyes when he’s talking about them…
He talked about his low times, with drugs and alcohol; bringing him to a place he never knew he’d be able to recover from while also talking about how those life choices took him out of his shell, putting him in places and situations he may have never been in otherwise.
; as many know him to be, is a man of so much talent, vision and creativity. He’s been a part of so many incredible projects, both locally and internationally over the many many years, with a shot list that most people only dream of achieving a portion of.
He is someone I look up to & admire to be like but even more so am so very honored to call a friend so thank you for being you, for being the amazing mentor you’ve become and for the many laughs and creative pushes you’ve given.
