I think these are the photos I’m loving more and more.

Not just everyone looking at me. Not just the sunset. Not just the “pretty” photo.

The little hands. The shell they had to show you. The way they reach for you without even thinking about it. The weird little in-between moments that probably don’t feel important while they’re happening.

And then somehow… those are the ones that get you. 🥲✨

Because one day, this is the stuff you’re going to miss.
Not the perfect pose. Just them, exactly as they were.

If you don’t have a Kim in your life, what are you even doing…

But for real. She’s my best friend who lives far too far away, the person I confide in when I’m feeling down, and a constant reminder that good people exist. Literal joy in human form.

Her ability to follow “one word answers only” instructions could use some work 😂 but I wouldn’t change even the teeniest bit of who she is.

Kim, thank you for being you, and for reminding me who I am when I need it most. Seeing myself through your eyes is one of my favorite views. 🫶🏼

Back to August 1st in Athens, GA with Brian & Hazel 🤍

I keep scrolling through this day and finding another photo I want to share. The way they look at each other, all of the thoughtful details, everyone fully committing on the dance floor. There was so much love and laughter captured 📸

Getting to know these two and document so much for them over the last year made traveling to Georgia for their wedding feel extra special. By then, it felt like showing up for friends, camera in hand, ready for whatever the day brought.

And you guys certainly gave me plenty to photograph. 🪩

Brian & Hazel, thank you for letting me be such a small part of so many big moments. It’s meant more than you know.

Some of my favorite photos happen in between the ones we planned. 🫶🏼

Someone gets everyone laughing before we’re ready. Your little one sneaks in for a squeeze.

You look over at your person and can’t keep a straight face.

And yep, I’m still taking photos through all of it. Hair in your face, halfway through a laugh, everyone looking in a different direction.

That’s when I get to catch those little things you know and love about each other.

How your little one curls into your side. That grin when they’re up to something. A laugh you can practically hear just looking at the photo.

I’ll always have a soft spot for these. A little messy, nobody quite ready, but so much of you guys in every photo.

I hope you love having these moments to look back on as much as I love catching them. 🤍

A little June in New York. ✨

I went back to photograph some of my families, which is a pretty good reason to pack a bag. Getting to keep documenting their lives in a place that’s such a big part of mine will always mean a little extra.

And in between, there was this. Vintage shops, pizza stops, no real plans once the camera was put away. Just me and whatever little detour looked good.

Here’s hoping there are more familiar faces to photograph and aimless afternoons in my New York future. For now, a little rewind. 🤍

The stuff that probably feels completely normal right now...
..but somehow ends up being the stuff you want to remember most. 🥹

The tiny hands. The belly laughs. The way they reach for you without even thinking about it.

The little looks, the quick hugs, the stuff that happens in between.

The kind of moments that feel small now, but won’t forever. 🥹

The moments you don’t really notice until you get to see them back.

Getting to photograph these little pockets of life with the fold . yoga this summer has been pretty dang special 🫶🏼
