“So do not fear, for I am with you.” 🤍
As hard as it is to find the good in what’s happening right now in Brantley and across South Georgia, it’s also been incredibly moving to witness it. The outpouring of love, the people stepping up to help, the donations, the hands ready to serve. It’s a reminder of just how strong a small town truly is.
I’ve only shared a glimpse of what I’ve seen, but there are so many more out there.
Right now, the greatest thing we can offer is prayer. There is power in prayer, more than anything else we could give in this moment.
Pray for those affected, the families who have lost homes, the ones facing uncertainty, and the people working tirelessly to help. PRAY for protection, for strength, for comfort. PRAY for heavy rain. PRAY for a miracle. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Let me also add, as someone who came from this area herself, these people will need help long after the fire is gone. Most of these people do not have insurance or anything to fall back on after the fire is gone. Even those who have insurance Ive heard they won’t be doing anything to help. Continue to pray and offer help where you can even after this subsides.
Keep PRAYING. 🤍
