Muddy feet, mama snuggles, big laughs, and the moments you already know you never want to forget. You won't find lots of props in my photos, nor will you see tons of perfectly posed children smiling directly at the camera. Instead, you’ll see real moments and interactions. Mamas kissing their babies’ toes, dads tossing their kids up in the air, and quiet moments with glowing baby bumps. These are the pictures I have hanging on the walls in my home. These are the moments that matter most.

Some sessions just mean a little more.

Caitlyn was one of my clients back when they lived in Georgia, so when she reached out about coming down to Jacksonville to photograph her whole family for her mom… I didn’t even have to think about it.

And honestly, this is why.

It wasn’t about everyone standing perfectly or getting that one “look here and smile” photo. Did we make sure to get those? Absolutely! But It was her mom holding that baby, the kids running in and out of the water, everyone laughing and talking over each other… just being together.

The kind of moments you don’t realize are a big deal until they are.

Getting to be invited back into someone’s life like that, years later, is something I don’t take lightly. It means a lot.

If you’ve been putting off getting your family all together, this is your reminder. It doesn’t have to be a whole big thing. Just being there, as you are, is enough.

I want to talk honestly for a minute about who petite motherhood sessions tend to be the best fit for.

These sessions are for mamas who want photos with their kids, not just of them. For the ones who don’t need perfection, but do want something meaningful. For families who value connection over checking every box.

They work especially well if:
• Your kids don’t love long photo sessions
• You want something simple and well-guided
• You’ve been meaning to do this for years and keep putting it off
• You want images that feel like your real relationship

They might not be the best fit if you’re hoping for lots of outfit changes, long sessions, or very structured posing. And that’s okay. Different seasons call for different things.
