After moving across the country from Southern California to South Carolina (to marry my high school sweetheart) I decided to follow my heart and passion and start yah Photography. When creating the business my husband and I knew it needed to match our down to earth and fun loving personalities! YAH stands for Young At Heart, which is a mindset, a way of life which keeps you young at heart. That is my pursuit in life, and I do that through photographing the connection that two people have for each other; the secret giggles shared during the ceremony, the tears shed during the first dance, or the big smiles on your face during the grand exit. No matter the moment, I am there to capture it, unscripted for you to have as a life-long memory. When I’m not photographing my amazing couples, I enjoy antique shopping and traveling with my husband! Most recently we welcomed our baby boy Indiana to the world March 2016 and are loving documenting his journey through life! (Follow me on IG and FB to see more) We also have two puppies Brody & Blitz who are the sweetest fur babies you will ever meet! I also am a lover of dark chocolate, caramel macchiato’s, and browsing the aisles of Anthropologie. Now that I have told you about myself, I would love to learn about you! Give me a ring or shoot me an email; we will be sure to enjoy some laughs and likely become friends along the way! While I reside in South Carolina I am available for travel worldwide!

So much of this page is devoted to weddings, but I have so many senior photo shoots coming up that I wanted a spot on the grid for these lovely graduation photos I never posted. I love seeing the joy that senior year brings and have so much fun photographing this stage of their life.

When the rain goes away and the most spectacular sky comes out to show off of the church windows… we go take advantage of it!!

Take me back to all those Scottish views! It’s been two years since this elopement in Scotland and I can’t help but reminisce on all the beautiful architecture and views this city has. Cheers to another year of happiness for these two and to more future travels!

All this rain has me thinking back on all the rainy day weddings; and that no matter what the weather… at the end of the day you are still marrying the love of your life. And that is all that matters!

With all the winter magic happening this weekend it reminded me of this engagement session from awhile back. I hope everyone enjoys the snow and don’t be afraid to get out and make some magic in it! ❄️
