OMG PEOPLE I got on tv!!! (See link below.) I would say this means the world to me... but it means something even bigger than that.
​
​There was more at stake here than my own goals. I saw it as an opportunity to be an advocate for business owners with neurological differences. My hope is that by watching this, people will see the individual, and not just their labels: that people will see me as a good photographer, and not just "good, for someone with autism."
​
​I will continue to advocate for others, and spend my life making sure people are truly SEEN. This is not the end, this is not my "good deed of the month"... This is only the beginning.
​

Go BOLD or go home! I feel if my work has brought the audience to a sudden halt, I have done my job well. I love a classic photo done right, but I also love adding a unique flair to my photography. Tell me! What would you like to see done more often in photography? How would you use it for your business, or in your personal life? I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's day! I wanted to say something to honor my mother, here. My mother, who loves flowers, and black and white photos. My mother, who made me burnt toast. That's not a complaint- because I had food. Because despite those crazy nursing hours, dealing with life and death- she still took the time to make something for me. I've grown up now, happy and healthy, like this flower. And I'm grateful for every bite of burnt toast I ever ate.
