Sometimes when we are trying to hard to catch the sunrise with the wondrous colors of light lighting up the morning sky, I always stop to look behind me to see if I missed anything. On this day, the anti-crepuscular rays were bright beams of light that appeared from the opposite side of the sky from the sun.

I finally had some time to test out my lightning trigger! I awoke to the sound of thunder this morning. It was like listening to a holy spirit telling me to get out of bed at 6AM! I made coffee while waiting for the rain to stop. As I sat, at the table, I spent a few minutes reviewing the camera settings that would work best. Finished my coffee as the rain began to stop. I walked out my front door to find a good spot to shoot from. I set up my tripod, camera, and lightning trigger. I did not have to wait long before the camera started going off by itself. As I checked the weather map on my phone, I caught a few lightning bolts before the rain started again. The trigger worked really well. I look forward to chasing a few storms
