Backstory: One of my best friends from college, Sarah, is an amazing midwife. I see the toll it takes on her be up at all hours of the day and night, available for whenever it's time for a birth. But I also see the joy it brings for her to welcome so many lives into the world.

She is a huge support to the women she helps give birth. She really cares about their wants and needs and making them feel comfortable and valued while also keeping them and their babies safe.

I'm so honored that NBC used one of my photos of her for their article about her role in trying to get the state of Georgia to remove some of their restrictions on midwives so they can provide care to more women in the area.

They both got baptized right after the ceremony, along with her parents. I loved the wedding dress flowing in the water!

I've been to so many weddings now as a photographer, and it never gets old. Each couple and wedding is so unique and lovely. 🥰

My niece Savanna got married in GA this weekend and was absolutely stunning! While I was dreading the drive from Indiana, it was so worth it.
