Fish market tour in Katsuura, Japan.

Fun fact: this fish market only deals in fresh, unfrozen fish, that had been line caught. Fish caught with trolling nets are not allowed.

We had some of the best tuna I’ve ever had at a small shop down the street

Hiking the Kumano Kodo trail in Japan with

4 days / 3 nights , 36ish miles, lots of hills, shrines & shrine stamps all within ethereal cedar forests.

Along the way we stayed in guest houses and were treated to incredible omakase meals created by our hosts.
