The Anderson family’s very first photos together also happened to be the moment they announced they’re adding another sweet baby to the family 🥹

The joy these three carried through the entire session was so genuine & effortless. They were so present with each other that I truly think they forgot I was even there most of the time — just laughing together, playing, & fully soaking in the moment.

Some sessions just feel like a reminder of why I love this job so much. Getting to witness this kind of joy, connection, & genuine love up close will never not feel special.

Being a mama is one of the most beautiful, refining, & rewarding gifts God has ever given me. It’s pouring so much of ourselves out every single day. It’s being needed constantly, carrying the mental load no one else can see, & loving our children so deeply it physically hurts sometimes.

But wow… the joy that comes with it 🥹 The privilege of getting to love, guide, & raise these little humans that God trusted us with. There is truly nothing like it. If you need the reminder today — what you’re doing matters deeply & you’re doing great mama.

The most beautiful session spent exploring outside with a family that genuinely just loves being together. Joy & kindness are the two words that instantly come to mind when I think of them (it just pours out of them!!!)
