A few favorites from my time in the studio with Jessica. ๐Ÿค

Iโ€™ve been really intentional lately about continuing to learn and grow behind the camera. Recently, that looked like spending some time at Pure House NWA โ€ข Photography Studio with Sierra โ˜ป NWA Senior Photographer, learning more about studio lighting and letting her pour some of her knowledge into me.

And then thereโ€™s Jessica.. who didnโ€™t even hesitate when I asked if sheโ€™d come be our beautiful subject for the day. ๐Ÿ˜‚ She showed up, supported us while I learned, trusted the process and of course, made our job VERY easy.

Jessica is a hairstylist at Welcome to NWA LUXURY HAIR SALON in Bentonville, and I love that what started as a day of learning also gave us the chance to create some really beautiful, updated headshots and lifestyle images for her.

Thereโ€™s something really cool about getting better at what I do while also creating something that helps someone else show up confidently in what they do.

This was one of those sessions with ALL kinds of outdoor light, different looks and a little bit of everything.. which honestly made it so much fun.

The kind of love you can see in the way they walk beside each other, laugh together and look at one another when nobodyโ€™s trying too hard.

The Cogers made this session easy in the best way. Just genuine love and years of doing life side by side at a place that means a lot to them. ๐Ÿค
