SPRINGDALE TOUCH A TRUCK

This October, the Springdale Firefighters Association hosted its annual Touch a Truck at the Arvest Ballpark, bringing together public safety agencies, and construction, heavy machinery, waste collection, and other companies to create a fun event for those of all ages who love big toys!

Some noteworthy attendees included the Bentonville Bomnb Squad, with their robotic EOD dog by Boston Dynamics, the Springdale Police Department with a 2026 FPIU equipped with a pushbar and StarChase, one of the first in the department, and Mercy Hospital Systems LifeLine helicopter.

XNA Fire Department ARFF 2, 3, and 4!

The XNA Fire Department has these two E-One Titan 4x4 ARFF apparatuses and a Ford F-550 with an ARFF QRV Attackmaster chassis that serve as frontline response for aircraft emergencies on the runway. Equipped with water, foam, and drychem for the unique incidents that occur at airports, these apparatuses are soon to be replaced - those pictures coming soon!

Thank you to Chief Breeden for his hospitality and letting me grab some photos during this month's NWA Metropolitan Fire Chief Association's meeting, which I had the honor of attending today.

Arkansas State Police Executive Protection Unit

During Arkansas Governor Sanders' visit to Northwest Arkansas last week, I grabbed a few photos of the ASP's Executive Protection vehicles, including Chevrolet Surburbans, GMC Yukons, and new Dodge Durangos, used to transport the Governor, parked by AQ Chicken's new location in Downtown Springdale.

Pictured are Springdale Police Department's Detective and Evidence Response Unit at Norfolk & Cascade in the Butterfield Estates neighborhood, after a shooting that resulted in the death of 18 year old Leonardo Ramirez on September 20th of this year.

These pictures were taken later in the day, after most of the scene security was released.
