Dot Dotson, a prominent Eugene photographer, opened his first camera store and photo lab in 1931. A pioneer in the photo finishing industry, Dot was among the first to process color film. Eighty five years later, the Dotson family is still carrying on Dot's tradition of quality photo finishing, friendly personal service and expert photographic advice. Today, professional photographers and photo enthusiasts still depend on Dot Dotson's commitment to quality photofinishing, just as they have for over eight decades. We offer processing of color and black & white film, 35mm and 120 formats, slide film (E-6), and most out-dated films (including APS, 110, 126). In addition to traditional film, we also welcome your digital files. You can get anything from a miniature locket size to a giant 44" x 10 foot mural. You can even get a woven tapestry, as well as a huge variety of gifts items. Save your memories of your video and audio recordings from most mediums to CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, or thumb drive. Mark your calendars!
This Friday there will be a special Halloween edition of the PAO Movie Series! The feature film will highlight Cindy Sherman's 30 years of untitled works in which she photographs herself in various guises...depicting fairy tales, clowns, history portraits and centerfolds...
There will also be a short film exploring the fringes of everyday life, even the macabre, with Mexican Photographer, Garciela Iturbide.
And have you ever seen Victorian ghost photos? So spooky!! Fake or real? You can be the judge...just don't be too frightened!

The movies show at New Zone Gallery. Doors open at 6:30, the videos begin at 7pm.

Discussion encouraged! And as much popcorn as you can stand!

The PAO movie series is starting back up after the summer hiatus! The main feature will be on photographer Martin Parr, an Englishman who revolutionized contemporary photography “by inventing a political, humanist and accessible photographic language and some of the most recognizable images of our times.”

The movies show at New Zone Gallery which is at 110 E. 11th Ave. (Corner of Oak Street)
Doors open at 6:30 and features begin at 7pm
