So you’ve been wanting more information on my cake smash sessions?

Here’s a few things to know!

Schedule the session when the baby is normally happiest and slightly hungry, and of course well rested!

What you should bring;
An outfit or 2! One for before and one during the smash.
Bring wipes and/ or a towel, and a bag for messy clothes.
Bubbles, toys to help get them to look!
If you have sentimental props you want to incorporate, bring them!
A room temperature cake is best.
I’ll supply the props, backdrop, and balloons.

My favorite pick, earthy tones, soft neutrals, or rich jewel tones.Avoid bright neons, these shades cast unwanted color reflections onto your skin.
Skip busy patterns like large logos, words, or loud graphics. They distract the eye.

If you want to add some movement in your photos, a flowy maxi dress or skirt adds great visual energy.

Wear tones that complement your outdoor or indoor backdrop.

If shooting with family or a partner, match colors rather than wearing identical outfits.
