One year later Bridget and Ian went back to where they got married to celebrate their first year as man and wife.

They reminisced with photos, read their guest book, drank sparkling juice, reread their vows to each other, and cut their wedding cake they had saved (no it wasn’t a gender reveal😂).

This was such a special way to celebrate and I recommend this to anyone with an upcoming anniversary. I recently went back to where I got married and I was flooded with all the precious memories of that day. Even if you don’t have a whole picnic setup, going back to the place you said “I do” in front of all your family and friends is a great way to celebrate your marriage.

A beautiful sunflower maternity session 🌻
It was so fun seeing Alyssa get so giddy as I was gasping at how amazing the photos were turning out! The squeals of excitement she would do while still trying to stick to the pose was compliment enough😂. Alyssa had the best idea to do her session at the sunflower field and she looked absolutely stunning. Hands down one of the best spots for a maternity shoot!

It’s been a while! Life has been crazy busy but all good. I took a little break from photography to reflect on my life and future journey with my business. I have a bad habit of not letting myself enjoy my hobbies and passions when life gets hectic. Photography is no exception. I found myself doing the job but not allowing myself to enjoy the parts of photography that I love! I’ve realized that even through any stress with my business, I can’t help but feel a pull to continue on. I think that’s how you know the difference between a fun hobby and a passion. All this to say, I’m still here. I’m still going to show up and share how much I love all the sessions and weddings I get to be part of. This is what I’m meant to do and I am so grateful to everyone who has trusted me to document their lives. I feel very excited about this year and I am looking forward to experiencing more of the joy I get from this amazing passion I get to call my business!

I had the pleasure of documenting my friend Emma’s maternity session. Little did I know Brayden was going to get on one knee and propose!!! We were talking about the next pose when he took the opportunity as her back was turned. I noticed and right away started clicking away😂 I felt bad she was explaining her vision for the next photo but I was definitely not listening and solely focused on my framing and settings😂😂😂 it’s ended up being perfect and of course she said yes! I’m so happy for their love and growing family 🩵💍
