Hey Short Dog artists, I got this message this week in case anyone might be interested in going to Plein Air Easton Competition and Arts Festival https://www.berksartalliance.com/uploads/1/2/3/8/123860371/plein-air-easton_orig.jpg

Hi Beth,
Berks Art Alliance is planning a trip to Plein Air Easton for Saturday; July 18th, and we need a few more passengers to make it happen. I thought you could pass it along to other artists you know. We will be leaving from Boscov's at the Berkshire Mall which is about 20 minutes from your studio.

Come see how Beth creates her distinctive painting technique using tools such as squeegees, cotton swabs and brushes as she carves into the paint to create the image. She is a bit different from other oil painters… come see her secrets.
About Beth Bathe:
A former graphic designer, Beth Bathe is a plein air oil painter who has garnered acclaim throughout the United States for her representational paintings described by critics as evoking nostalgia. She uses Cobra Water Mixable Oil Colors in thin washes with a limited tonalist palette, using unconventional tools such as squeegees and Q-tips along with her brushes. Her paintings have won numerous awards and honors, and she has been a featured artist in Plein Air Magazine.
