If we haven’t met yet, hi! I’m Kara — the face behind the camera. ❤️
I’ve had a camera in my hand since 2010, and somehow what started as a love for photography turned into a pretty big part of who I am. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph a little bit of everything — portraits, small weddings, sports, special events, families, seniors… and the list goes on!
I genuinely love what I do. But photography is only one piece of my crazy life.
I’m a wife, a mom, and now a Gigi (still getting used to saying that one! 😉). I have a full-time career in IT, so yes… I basically have two completely different worlds that I absolutely love.
And if you know me, you know I’m a little crazy about my routine. You can usually find me waking up at 3:40 AM every weekday to hit the gym at 4:00 AM. Because apparently sleep is optional. 😂
When I’m not working, photographing, or at the
I love my life. I love my family. I love meeting new people. And I really, really love being able to capture the moments that people will look back on for years to come.
Being on the OTHER side of the camera?! 😳

I spend so much of my time telling people where to stand, how to pose, where to look, how to relax, and “just act natural”… and suddenly I’m the one standing in front of the camera.
Let’s just say… I have a whole new appreciation for every single person I photograph. 😂
So, that’s me — the photographer, the IT girl, the wife, mom, Gigi, early-morning gym-goer, true-crime ju**ie, and the person behind the lens who absolutely loves what she does.
