Lisa M. Trotta Photography

Lisa M. Trotta Photography I'm a tree-hugging animal lover - a Joanie Granola, if you will. I love photographing pets and dolls. Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy!

I've always loved taking photographs and have worked hard to go from snapshots to great photographs. After working as a secretary for 20 years, I found myself unemployed and I thought, "There's no time like the present to re-evaluate my life." And that I did; photography is my job now and I'm loving it. My primary interests are pet photography and macro photography, but I have really come to enjoy

doll photography. Dolls are the perfect models - they wear what you want, pose how you want, and don't have scheduling conflicts (at least they haven't yet!). I was born in the backseat of a Greyhound bus ... just kidding! Seriously, I was born and raised in Connecticut. I live in Connecticut with my wonderful husband and our four dogs. My animals are both unsuspecting yet willing models, and I love snapping pictures of them as well as everyone else's pets. I love capturing them in the various stages of their day - from sweet portraits of them in slumber to the crazy Claymation-like poses while in full action. I hope you enjoy viewing my photos as much as I loved creating them!

I've missed photographing the kids for the past two years. This photo still makes me laugh whenever I look at it.

This is my favorite photo of Excursions in Learning 2019 thusfar. This little girl is a hoot, and her expression epitomizes what it's like to photograph kids for five weeks during the summer. LOL

I was afraid today was going to be raining, but thankfully it was a nice day. These climbers rocked the jump and hit (or almost hit) their mark. Very impressive

There are two Excursions in Learning programs that I absolutely love to photograph: Culinary and Leadership (ropes course). I am in love with the sustainable farm to table class taking place this week. I'm not sure if Excursions is only for Manchester residents, but if you have kids and live in the area, check out the courses offered. There's something for everyone.
