Glasses & sunglasses in photos; what to know before your session

If you wear glasses every day, you should absolutely feel comfortable wearing them in your photos. A few small adjustments can make a big difference in keeping glare away and keeping your eyes visible.

Tips for glasses
- Anti‑glare lenses help reduce reflections from the sun or my camera.
- Tilt your chin or the frames slightly downward, even a tiny angle can prevent light from bouncing back into the lens.
- Push glasses a little higher on the bridge, this keeps the top rim from casting shadows.
-Consider a glasses‑free option, some people like a mix of both looks.
-If you wear transition lenses, remember you should bring glasses that do not transition or take off the glasses. We want to see your eyes. Honestly, you don't need to "see" the photographer to get a great portrait.

And sunglasses?
Bring those. Truly.
Sunglasses can add personality, confidence, and a fun vibe to your gallery. We’ll use those for a few images, then pop those off for the rest.

Your photos should feel like you, whether that’s glasses, sunglasses, or a mix of both.
