You know how sometimes just being next to a human makes you feel like a better person? That’s this momma and her girls. They are literally walking sunshine wherever they go. ☀️
Sometimes I feel intimidated shooting portraits in a studio- because I’m so used to being outside. So this was really fun to try it again along side other creatives. and created a beautiful environment to ask questions, slow down, intentional colors and absolutely stunning florals to top it all off. It was an honor to photograph this family next to some of the best.

Landed in San Diego and immediately went for a beach stroll. As if just the scenery alone wasn’t beautiful enough, I found this stunning couple soaking in the California sunset. In natural Bri fashion, I had to ask if I could grab a few photos — because some moments are just too beautiful not to capture.
If you saw me walking up with a camera… Are you running away like my husband, or sticking around and letting me grab a few photos?!

I had so much fun photographing this beautiful mama. One of the most meaningful seasons of my life was being pregnant—I still think about how full of wonder it is. All the quiet curiosities… Who will they be? What color will their eyes be? Which features will come from me, and which from their dad? What will their cry sound like, and later, their little voice?
It’s such a fleeting, sacred time—filled with anticipation, emotion, and a depth of love that’s hard to put into words. These are moments you can’t get back, feelings that live deep in a mother’s heart.
Taking maternity photos is such an honor. 🥹

Do you print your photos, or usually just leave them on a phone or computer?! Because let me tell you- as beautiful as photos are on your phone or computer, they’re SO MUCH BETTER on a wall!

Golden hour meets gathering hour. 🌶️🫑🥚🥕
I know I’ve said it so many times, but there is something so special about capturing families in their own space. I love just slowing down, no time frame, no specific expectations, just being intentional in enjoying the ordinary moments.
