Some moments hit differently when you’ve witnessed parts of the journey along the way.

A memorable night at the iconic Sony Hall in the heart of New York City, capturing the one and only Melody Gad bringing that authentic dancehall energy to the stage! 🎤🇯🇲

Having photographed Kranium at previous events over the years, it’s always a blessing to witness the continued growth, dedication, and success. From the music to the culture, seeing the journey unfold is something special.

The energy inside Sony Hall was incredible! The crowd, the performances, the atmosphere, and every moment in between made this a night worth remembering.

CultureCon 2026 📸 | MUSEUM OF US

The people were the art. So I photographed them like they belonged in a museum.

For this series, I wanted to step away from traditional event photography and create something that felt timeless, raw, editorial, and intentional. Black and white. Heavy grain. Natural expressions. Individual style. Portraits that feel like they could have been pulled from an archive years from now.

Because that’s what I saw walking through CultureCon ®.

Not just attendees.

Subjects.

Storytellers.

Every person brought their own style, energy, story, and perspective into the room, and my goal was to preserve a piece of that through my lens.

🎥🔥 RAIN COULDN’T STOP THIS ONE. 🔥🌧️

This past Saturday, Sandz Festival delivered one of the wildest vibes New York has seen all year.

When Chronic Law touched the stage, the skies opened up and the rain started pouring… but did anybody leave?

ABSOLUTELY NOT. 😤🔥

Thousands of people stayed outside, singing every word, waving their flags, and partying in the rain like nothing else mattered. That’s when you know it’s more than an event—it’s a movement.

🇯🇲🌴 The energy was different.
🌧️ The rain made it legendary.
🎤 Chronic Law gave the people exactly what they came for.
🔥 New York showed up and showed out.

Moments like these remind us why we do this. The weather changed, but the vibes never did.
